My father Bengt Gustafsson founded AB Gustafssons Blommor in 1954. We have been a well known flower whole saler for many years, and in 2019 we decided to sell the flower whole sale section.

We started early to build a large range of pots, vases, zink products, baskets, garden decorations etc. Not only for our customers within the flower industry and garden centres, but also to interior design shops all across Sweden, Norway and Finland. This really took off in 2012, after we created a new brand – GUS Design. Since then we have further expanded our product range, and experienced a growth like no other. We have many returning customers who appriciate our broad, and constantly renewed range of quality products.

However, everything must come to an end, and in the beginning of this year we made the decision to discontinue operations in AB Gustafssons Blommor. Björn Niklasson and I will be focusing on our company Mariestadsblommor from now on.

We are very happy that the Dalema Group takes over our brand Gus Design at this point. With their long experience in running and developing well known brands, we are convinced that GUS Design will continue its exciting journey.

Consilimo AS, which is a part of the Dalema Group, and includes well known brands such as Edelweiss, Serviteur and Lauvring, welcomes GUS Design to the family.

GUS Design complements our existing product range, and we consolidate our position as a turnkey supplier to the industry.

We are delighted that Jörgen Pettersson and Tomaz Hemström from GUS Design start working for us. From earlier Gia Sundberg and Sara Lindelöf is to be found at Edelweiss. For those of you who are old GUS-customers you will recognize many of the faces, and hopefully feel very welcome.

Our ambition is to develop GUS Design further without losing what has characterized GUS Design all these years: Personal service, developing new products, and giving our customers inspiration on how our products can add to their sales figures.

All customers will be able to trade as usual until June 30. We will come back with information on how the continuation will look like well before this date.
